Not to be cliché and create small talk about the fact that it is already the first Monday of May; but we are officially in the fifth month of 2021.
As I write this, I am sipping my black coffee and listening to some seaside coffee shop ambience from the comfort of my home studio/office.
New downloads in the shop
My deepest apologies to my lovely art loving visitors. Finding a creative energy balance between my visual work and my musical work is an ongoing battle. The two are beginning to be intertwined, but I can’t be doing both simultaneously, which means sometimes you’ll see more of my visual work, and other times more of my auditory work.
I am in the process this week of adding listings to the downloads shop, and I think you’re really going to enjoy these.
What’s New In the Shop
I am a lover of trippy designs, optical illusions, and psychedelic art, so much of my visual work incorporates those concepts.
Psychedelic Mushroom design
The newest downloads in the shop illustrate my love for trippy design.
This psychedelic mushroom design I created after becoming inspired by Oregon legalizing psilocybin.
Obviously, you wouldn’t want to consume these mushrooms if you wanted to stick around in this physical existence after your psychedelic journey, but they’re the ones I most enjoy drawing.
You may notice some inspiration from Super Mario and the mushrooms in the game, if you’re a gamer.
Seeing Eye Mouth Design
This next one is one of my favorite designs I have done despite how simple it is.
I have it printed and on my wall here in the home studio and it looks awesome!
The above two designs are for personal use only, which means you can print them for yourself and others, but you can’t sell the design as your own.
If you would like to commission me to create a design for you, you can contact me using the message form on the contact page and I will send you my rates.
Pig Swimming Surreal Collage
The next design I am selling with the Creative Commons license attached, which means you are free to use it in any way you choose.
I really enjoy creating collages using Photoshop. I haven’t made any recently, but I find them great for times when I am a bit uninspired creatively.
I use Creative Commons stock photography or my own photography to make them.
More on the way
More designs and artwork are on the way throughout the week.
